Intro for the Intro God

Hi, I'm Carolyn and I followed Ty home, so blame her.

I'm playing 2nd Lieutenant Miranda Nero from Warhammer 40,000, a franchise that started out as a satire of Thatcherite Britain and is now...not that. It's still ludicrously OTT, though.

Mira is a junior officer in the army of a militaristic, theocratic, xenophobic, and generally just awful space empire, and she thinks that's dandy because childhood indoctrination is a hell of a drug. She's young and not a religious zealot or political hardliner, so she's not going to be starting physical fights, but positive CR will be an uphill battle for anyone who's visibly not a garden-variety human. On the bright side, she's nice once you get to know her. By Warhammer standards.

Anyway, I have an opt-out post on this account. Warhammer is the canon that gave us the term "grimdark," and Mira herself isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea, so if there's anything you don't want to get into or if you'd prefer to avoid having your alien/mutant/robot talk to the violent Luddite xenophobe entirely, please let me know.

Unsure how Billy and Mira will ACTUALLY get along, because hoo boy is he ever fucking aggressive about any sort of phobic behavior but hey, maybe they'll get through some 'what the fuck's a frappucino' first!

It's not her fault! The Imperium raised her wrong. Very, very wrong. She's like a homeschool kid who's never been challenged on anything she was taught.

She has a mental category for "people with powers who aren't bad guys." If we can arrange some positive interactions (especially anything that shows bravery or strong character) before he does/says something she'd react badly to, that would help a lot. Also the fact that he's, y'know, clearly sane and not sacrificing babies to the Dark Gods.

Well, considering we're about to have a bunch of people including Billy and Mira running towards the explosion in this event, that should help with seeing some positive things at least! XD I'm really looking forward to playing with you again, though!

Heyo!! It's Shiro and I have Squall from FF8 here. It could be interesting to throw a teenage child soldier orphan turned commander of elite mercenaries at her? :D

Oh hello there, fellow child soldier! (Mira's in her early 20s and comes from a planet where you're trained for the military from birth and conscripted at like 12.)

Oh boy. That should be interesting. He started training at 6. Graduated as a mercenary fairly recently at 17. But it's a fairly normal school-ish setting apart from being training to kill and secretly destined to save the world, I guess?!
