Hi all!

One thing I really love working out is how characters would interact outside of the threads we have - we don't always want to faff about with first meetings when all our characters have been in the city for months and must have run into each other at some point, right? Besides, I love finding out what characters are doing in their lives - including the most mundane things possible.

So please feel free to fill out the form below, write everything you can think of, then tag around other people's entries and figure out some background CR!

Job Title: Patrol Officer (Soon to be Detective in Missing Persons)
Job Description: He's often out on the street doing traffic cop stuff. He's mostly pretty fair with it but if someone is giving himself or someone else and unnecessarily hard time he'll raise his voice.

Hobbies: There aren't a lot of sports so he'll listen to live music at Rick's. He also likes animals and he likes hipster bullshit food cart food, because he's an aging millennial hipster. He also likes vintage stuff, like old cameras and records and CD players.
Anything else: Hank needs to find some sports to watch of some sort, or more places to visit or something. He also might need more unique weapons annnnnd I don't want to make weapons for my own character.

Name: Connor
Fandom: Detroit: Become Human

Job Title: Traffic cop / Roomba technician
Job Description: During the day you can pretty much find him wandering the streets, only stopping to give directions and help old ladies cross the road, write down horrific infractions of the city parking rules and argue with people caught committing said infractions.

At night you can find him at a garage surrounded by stacks of Roombas trying to make the little buggers work again, sometimes with a protective Roomba parent hovering over his shoulder.

Hobbies: Nida made him realise parcour can be a hobby and not just something he got programmed with to chase suspects and he's here for it. He's also got a pet android Dobermann, Maggie, who can obstacle course with the best of them too, so those two hurling around, over and under random shit will happen.
On a similar note, free climbing, another thing Nida taught him exists. Feel free to look out a window one day only to lock eyes with Connor on his way up past.
He's discovered audio books as a great way to force him to read slowly! So he'll sometimes just sit around a park or at the cat cafe or a pillow fort with headphones on, but he's polite and also likes talking to people so he always welcomes interruptions.


Anything else: I want him to get the incredibly stupid idea of incorporating parcour and axe throwing, a thing he enjoys and a thing he would enjoy if he had more of a challenge. Some day in the future I want people to see Connor side flip off a wall and hurl an axe at a stuffed animal swinging from a crane by the building opposite, miss wildly and be simultaneously annoyed and excited about it.

He's pretty much always looking for new things to try - I think he'd like trying out cooking/baking because one is VERY SPECIFIC FOLLOWING OF INSTRUCTIONS which he's very comfortable with and then the other is let your imagination run wild with flavour, which he could slowly branch out into. So if any characters want to introduce him to the culinary arts, plz do.

Also video games. He gets cross about video games because all the superhuman speed and strength and AI brain in the world don't make you all that much better at video games and that'll be character building for him. Also, moral dilemmas in the safe context of video game stories. He'll play his shepard as full paragon because he won't want to be mean to anybody who doesn't deserve it Someone please be his partner in nerddom.

Can we handwave that Nida and Connor are doing parkour together now that Nida's sobered up? Nida can't help with the axe-throwing stuff, but he can definitely help with the challenges. He's a HUGE person for training this.

Naminé | Kingdom Hearts

Job Title: Waitress.
Job Description: She works as a waitress at the coffee house named The Expresso. Naminé is still learning things but she buses tables, takes orders, cleans and delivers coffee. She is not skilled enough to make the coffee yet.

Hobbies: Naminé likes to read, draw and learn new things. She's been alive for a little over a year and has only had a body of her own for a few days before arriving in Dualis. She wants to try out new things and find things that she likes. She's very eager and excited.

A lot of her free time is spent wandering around, creating maps for her roommate to find things that she puts away and drawing in the park or wherever inspires her. Naminé is still very much in 'exploring-life-mode'.

Anything else: I would like Naminé to learn more things. I'd like her to learn to cook and really any other skills that others can teach her. LIKE SHOOTING A GUN! That's always fun. She is also open to drawing things for people or looking for little projects to do in her free time.

I would also like Naminé to learn how to fight or use her magic better. She's a little reluctant to do anything because she doesn't know how it might backfire. Her abilities center a lot around memory manipulation and things like that. She can sense people through threads of connections but that is unclear in canon and I will likely keep it unclear in game.

She also needs friends. ALL OF THE FRIENDS!

Job Description: None. Jane's not employed, and most likely flits around the city occasionally shoplifting small items when she needs something (if she can get away with it).

Hobbies: Jane enjoys drawing and painting, and can sometimes be found sketching or creating art. However some of her other personalities have very different hobbies and interests and might pursue them. (Examples: seeking out scenic spots to picnic at, shopping for or playing with dolls, etc.) There are many reasons for her to be in various places throughout Dualis.
Anything else: Nothing comes to mind! I'll keep an eye out for any random places she may show up, but if you'd like to run into her anywhere let me know.

Hank will probably hear about the shop-lifting and sigh deeply, but I will assume he won't get in her way because a.) I don't want him beat just yet as I'd rather it be for something more of a big deal and b.) come on, it's fucking shoplifting.

I'm still good with her doing a painting of Drifter on fire, too. The Dawnblade super kind of looks like it has fire wings.

Wanda Maximoff | MCU

Job Title: Wanda has two part time jobs; Mayors Private Security & Safety Control at The Mines.
Job Description: Wanda is at the mines for 7 days out of the month. It's a 3 hour commute by bus/car and she usually stays over night unless she's needed back at the city at which she flies. She is on the Mayors private security detail randomly, usually during large events, otherwise once or twice a week (except for the week that she isn't in the city).

Hobbies: Wanda likes to read and explore in her free time. With her brother in the city she's taken more time to explore and can likely be found testing her powers with the warpiness of the city, just because. She also drinks way too much coffee and cooks in her free time. She's always up for doing new things too.
Anything else: Wanda would like more sparring partners, mostly without using her magic. She's gotten good because of her time in 6th Iteration but she needs to hone her body as well as her powers. She is a lot stronger than the Wanda in canon because she's had two years in 6th Iteration. She's also pretty good with a bow and arrow (thank you Clint and having to hunt for your own food).

I think that Wanda will start a group for those brought here that's like a "neighborhood watch" kind of thing but it'll be based on the assumption that they can't trust the Head & the Hand. She'll likely post up something about this when my life calms down because lately it's been crazy.

I would also love for all the Maximoff Universe family threads and people who might know Wanda's name (even if it's 4th wall releated) just because it's fun and after 6th Iteration it doesn't really phase Wanda anymore. I realize that isn't technically handwave stuff but I thought it worth mentioning.

She'd also love a jogging partner because Wanda does jog every morning. Who knows, she might get Arado from 6th Iteration to jog when I have points (Arado is a Norwegian Elkhound dog from her previous game.)

Either of mine could easily be talked into being sparring and/or jogging buddies. Both have trained to fight since childhood, and Revan is Jedi levels of physically fit while Mira is one of those obnoxious people who's up at dawn and runs a 5k before breakfast.

The problem with Mira is that she's prejudiced against anyone with powers (for good reasons in her home universe that don't apply here) so if she finds out, she's likely to be weird about it unless someone like Clint talks her down.

Job Description: Haji plays for the Dualis city Orchestra. Once he gets his own cello back he will be playing on the streets.

Hobbies: Haji doesnt sleep, and likes to walk at night even with no aim, he will just walk and walk spaced out often. He will also be found randomly reading places with his Dualis Tablet since he has nothing better to do these days. Basically he can be anywhere at any time, it works.
Anything else: Just CR, he needs people to get him moving around adn working our his basket is issues and traumas. Also, a little triggering, but someone to talk to him about that little vampiric eating disorder. He is weak cause he doesn't feed.

Job Title: Game Booth Host | Weapons dealer/builder
Job Description:
He works at one of those arcades with the multiple booths you can go to and win prizes during the day, supervising and acting like a hype man for the games. He switches between games and generally either goads people into playing or convinces them to for the fun of it. It's mostly for younger people so not a lot of people see him there.

Drifter's going to be getting in touch with the heart and offering him some weapons making services. I have an OOC post here, and permission for him to make some pretty hardcore weapons with the right ingredients. He's going to be wanting to go after the Head because he's 100% sure (whether it's true or not) that he can figure out the way the Head transmats people between universes, given his own experience. So if people want a gun and don't want to thread it out, just lmk.

Hobbies: Not exactly all hobbies but some other stuff.

-FOOD SERVICE AND GROCERY PEOPLE: During lunch he can be found at any food cart or outdoor restaurant stuffing his face. He'll often be eating if people see him while not at work.
If you have a job at a restaurant, bar, or grocery store then I don't mind assumptions.

-MAGIC AND POWERS: He hides his abilities as best he can. But someone might catch him floating at some point if he needs to reach something. He'll also watch anyone showing their abilities very closely.

-SLIGHT OF HAND AND GAMES: He'll jump at cards and loves to entertain people with slight of hand tricks. He has a lot of fun with it.

Anything else: If anyone capable of mind-reading rolls up on him they might hear lovecraftian worm god voices whispering in his head.

Job Description: Managing ER intake, patient care, IV lines, all that lovely medical jazz. Sometimes gets transferred to other departments and does some orderlie work because of his strength.

Hobbies: David is a techie, and a cook. He's often found in the kitchens of the dorm either cleaning or making early morning coffee before his shifts. Reading in quiet places, exploring the city to check for more information. He's also taken up martial arts again.
Anything else: David is doing his best to be more social, which means he's going to more places like the locations NAPS have been had. Lots of one off fun places while he tries to find better hobbies. He'll absolutely take people up on offers to go places, though.

Nida - FF8

Job Description: Repairs and modifications at the garage he works at, lots of deployment to on-site repairs like replacing batteries and the like. He's apparently pretty and good enough at fake smiles that the boss uses him as the go-to guy for this.

Hobbies: Training at local gyms. A regular local parkour and rock climbing gyms.
Anything else: Spends a lot of his 'free time' at the warehouse, so that means plenty of possible CR for people associated with it. Also means he's harder to pin down outside of the above for other people. Those are great places to run into him, though. Because he's happy to help people learn.

Zack Fair | Final Fantasy VII

Job Description: For the former Zack spends the mornings and scheduled appointments helping people get fit! Lots of workouts, sometimes at the gym, sometimes at people's personal homes. The latter is with an agency. Need someone to do a task for you? Need help moving or repairing something? Zack's number is given out and he can come to help.

Hobbies: Hanging out with Cloud. He's also going to arcades because he wants to learn about these 'video games'. Just generally exploring town. Too new to have set up hobbies yet.
Anything else: Zack is always cheerful and will introduce himself to literally anyone. So it's VERY easy to assume a connection to him. Just let me know what you want.

Job Title: In between jobs. Formerly cashier at Premium Foods
Job Description: He was miserable in the snooty premium grocery store for a while. After the rather publicized coup, he's kicking back a while and might start work for the mafia or something else.

Hobbies: What are hobbies? He heads to their secret warehouse in the outskirts a lot. Might be seen playing games on his phone throughout the dorms, if not disappearing into his friends' rooms. Sometimes seen with a young chocobo. Tell him what hobbies are please.
Anything else: He'd love to challenge/teach more people Triple Triad (a card game from FF8). He's also getting back into physical training so anyone who likes to jog or work out at crazy hours in the morning can join him? Possibly signing up to a gym.

Job Description: Anything a florist would do. Tend to flowers, keep them pretty, arrange them as ordered, manage the counter.

Hobbies: He just wanders the city. He doesn't know what hobbies are, help. He'd love to shop for more clothes but he has expensive taste and not enough duos. He might enjoy trawling the library. (don't panic)
Anything else: He enjoys observing people going about their daily lives at this juncture. Read some fiction. Stand out too much like a sore thumb to blend into the background. Just figuring this city out.

Job Title: She hasn't gotten one yet
Job Description: She'll start looking for something soon. She may take things occasionally, which would be easy enough to spot since she uses her power and there's a green misty glow around her hands when she does that.

Hobbies: She wanders around the city a lot, looking into things, asking a LOT of questions about this place and it's history. She'll start going to bars pretty soon to see what kind of information there can be found there. And potentially to get really drunk because she's very very lonely.
Anything else:The longer she's here the more likely she is to want a partner to train with or at least a location to continue practicing with her powers. She's especially fond of practicing with her throwing knives so places that have targets for that.

She doesn't sleep much and spends a lot of time out at night. Sometimes she might even be seen levitating and practicing with that at night since it seems safer to her. Mostly she's just sad and spends a lot of her time trying to avoid thinking about why she's so sad. Avoidance is key!

Hobbies: Testing her teleportation and astral projection. She's figured out they don't work quite the same and have been nerfed some so she'll probably start testing her other abilities soon to see what happened there. Her other hobbies include looking for places to either buy flowers or find them and making new friends. Need a friend that will bring you flowers to your room to cheer you up? Arkady will do that!
Anything else: I would like her to find people that she likes enough that she'd bring fruit baskets or flowers or little trinkets to in order to try to make them happy. She can also be found on the roof a LOT with glowing white eyes which means she's using her powers. She really just wants friends. And to know what's really going on here.

Hank has a (very possibly incorrect theory) that astral projection and teleportation is limited because the head is trying to keep itself out of transportation range, so wherever the head's main components are would be beyond double anyone's teleportations range from the main city. Above ground, underground, just somewhere people couldn't reach without being spotted by surveillance. So if possible I'd like him to talk about how hers is nerfed.

Job Description: Cloud works for both sides of Dualis' friendly mafia, and spends days and nights picking up money / contraband and dropping it in varying places about town as directed. His schedule's more or less when jobs come in, so you can find him here there and everywhere.

Hobbies: He regularly makes trips to and from Seifer's forge on the outskirts of town, and can be seen (occasionally) smuggling Boko into and stealing sampling veggies in Premium Foods. Otherwise, he can be found at the park walking with Boko, as well as scoping out locations for Tifa's (eventual) bar.

On a personal level, he's also looking for somewhere to work on a new limit break.

Anything else: Fighty types are welcomed. (Everyone is welcomed! But fighty types in particular.)

Job Title: Mayors Private Security/Bodyguard
Job Description: She basically follows the Mayor around probably daily to keep her alive and safe. So she's pretty much all around town and such, wherever the mayor is.

Hobbies: She's put off any real hobbies for a while but: Painting (water paints specifically), Sketching, exercising and working out, and eating/drinking like she's just been found living in a cave for months eating bugs. So she can be found literally anywhere, she's not in her room very often and likes to be out anywhere doing anything else.
Anything else: The only thing I can think of rn is a friend, as much as she denies she needs one looool. She lonely af but hardly plays nice (at least at first) and the attitude def hasn't helped her any
