[ Sharon was getting an idea of the kind of person Hank was, or as well an idea one can get in such a short amount of time, but it wasn't a bad one. He came off grizzled, worn by the constants of time, but kind. For all she knows, though, he could be a monster underneath all that, most people are, but, for now, he wasn't so bad. ]

So, the future isn't really all that different than the present, then: people still suck. At least I've got that to look forward to if I ever get back home. [ A touch of dark humor and her expression turns slowly serious and she leans into the table a little, voice a touch quieter. ]
