1. Not His First Speed-Friending

[Pros and cons of the situation. Pro: David liked meeting new people sometimes. The last person he met in a rush turned out to be a pretty interesting guy who had in two days changed his entire life and let him see a corner of the multiverse in surprising depth. He’d even come out, kissed a guy, saved the multiverse and had a kickass party with his new friends. Con: Almost died, again. Was threatened with non-existence by said guy’s future-god boyfriend, was left with questions about his fate, and has said friend who started it all ignore him. So... wash?

He fidgeted in his seat and shifts nervously.]

So, uh, what is your favorite thing to do on a lazy day?

3. Massively Over-Qualified.

[He stands at the terminal, considering it leeringly. There were so many questions e had, abs no potential for answers. How did the algorithms decide who was suitable for what jobs? What potential pool of openings was there. Could he maybe manage to get something that wouldn’t suck? How long would the system let him keep entering skills and knowledge sets before it decided he was making things up? What shadowy organization was storing that information and for what purpose?

What was a young former mutant to do but sigh at the terminal and consider. Which of course meant taking up space other people could use. Which he would apologize for later, given he was trying to decide whether he should be labeling his multiple sources of medical knowledge based on category, specialization, or how much skill he actually had in them. Trauma surgeon, yes, good. Neuro? Definitely didn’t trust his hands enough for that one, Strange be damned.]

Is it wrong that I just prefer a resume so I don’t have to go into all of my skills?
