I'm also here to introduce myself. I'm Binky (I've threaded with at least one person from a previous game, way back in the far when). I'm playing Hank Anderson from Detroit: Become Human, and Yondu Udonta from Guardians of the Galaxy, as I'm fond of crotchety grumpy neanderthal men.

Hank's a cop from Detroit (likely a former cop, as he punches a federal agent as a distraction to help save his partner from disassembly) and from the full liberation DBH ending. He's finally coming to grips with his young son's death three years ago and no longer blaming androids for it. His favorite color shirt is "hippy grandma's quilt fabric" and his favorite words all have four letters.

Yondu is Peter Quill's adoptive father who waited too damn long to admit that, and is bitter and greedy and generally has a mean sense of humor. It's stifled right now but Yondu usually has the ability to yeet an arrow in whatever direction he pleases through cybernetic cranial implant and strategic whistling. If someone technically capable would want some CR/something to do, he'll probably eventually ask for help concerning why it's not working right.

I'm looking forward to playing them here and I hope we all have a good time.

I'm Ty, we've talked a little in the Discord but this here is my boy, Billy Kaplan, a 19-year-old hero with reality-altering magic powers who's gonna be Magic Jesus for the multiverse one day but currently is just a fabulous friendly slightly neurotic New Yorker. Hank's clothing choices might literally murder him, and I'm looking forward to conversations with him and Yondu once they realize they know some of the same species :D Glad you're here!

Hank deserves to be reminded his shirts are garbage. His heart is in the right place and his clothes are not.

Yondu will probably have his mind blown at evil Skrulls. I've loosely been headcanoning that Yondu was involved in at least one Skrull conquest while he was a battle slave, so while he's not feeling guilty at all (he does hold the Kree accountable) he probably does feel some sympathy for them.

Hello! It's nice to meet you! I'm Shiro and I have a 17yo (probably closer to 18 now) commander of a mercenary squad/training school. He's a little grumpy and prickly but he's generally squishy on the inside.

I'm canon familiar with GoTG but not DBH. I'm excited to throw him at both either way!!

I'm really looking forward to getting to play Yondu. I've used him as a side character in PSLs and got to play him in a game for two months. I'd love to really get to use him for something.

He gets bowled over by friendship eventually despite years of crafting his lone wolf thing.

I've been playing Squall primarily in memes for a while now so it's like 'oh god I have to actually remember canon details now'.

God, yeah. I've gotten used to playing Hank so I'm not worried about his canon, but MCU is so wide and sprawling. I'm currently playing a guy that has nothing to do with anything other than GotG but I've considered playing Jessica Jones before and was always scared away.

ooh Jessica Jones is a good choice. I've played Coulson from Agents of SHIELD before. I can't tell if it's worse when you forget details from a video game or from a TV show. Thank god for wikis.

I feel like the depth of information on a wiki is proportionate to the nightmarish horribleness of a fanbase.

hahaha that may be true actually. The tl'dr on MCU-verse wikis is real.

Most of the fandoms I'm in right now have great wikis but also have antis so strong they sent some of my fave artists to a mental hospital and the gross sweaty neckbeards being full of the incorrect mansplain. There has to be balance in the universe.

Have I even begun to mention how much I'm looking forward to David interacting with Yondu? Because I am. And honestly, he might be useful at some point to help Yondu with stuff. Because tech and being frustratingly familiar with some Kree and Skrull tech, which is basis enough to work from.

Absolutely down with David helping with Yondu. He needs someone to tell him, "IDK shit looks fine to me."
